Welcome to the 2025-2026 kindergarten enrollment process. Please be sure to review all of the information on this page before proceeding to ensure your child is properly enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year. For a student to be eligible for kindergarten, the student must be five years old on or before August 31, 2025.  

If you already have children in the CHSD, the enrollment process will be completed through your current parent portal on Skyward. If you do not have students in the district, you must register for Skyward access first.  

There are TWO parts to enrolling a kindergarten student.  The first part is to complete and submit the online 2025-2026 Kindergarten Enrollment form.  To complete this step, you will need a copy of a deed/lease OR an electric, water, or gas bill for proof of residency.  You will also need a copy of the student’s immunization records. Throughout the online portion, you will be prompted to download, print, and complete the required documents necessary to enroll your child in kindergarten.  These documents will need to be turned in during the second part of the process in April.

1.  Gain Access to Skyward

2.  Complete the form using all CAPS and submit.

3.  Check your email for further instructions.

4.  Access Skyward.

I have a Skyward Account.

1. Log into your Skyward account. 

2. Click on the New Student Enrollment Tab (upper left-hand corner)

3. Complete Kindergarten Registration Form.
